Good morning all you skiers and riders out there! It's a beautiful Thursday morning here at Crested Butte Mountain Resort! We've got cloudy skies outside as the day breaks and temperatures should reach the low forties! We received one inch of new snow in the last 24 hours, and the forecast is calling for snow showers throughout the day with mostly sunny skies expected by tomorrow! It's currently 25 degrees outside with light snowfall and calm winds blowing at about 7 mph. We have received an amazing 21 inches of snowfall in the last seven days, giving us a natural snow depth of 91 inches. You can look forward to a great day on the Mountain with plenty of powder left for you to ski or ride! We've got 470 acres of meticulously groomed runs and our groomer's choice for today is Championship! No matter what kind of terrain you enjoy skiing, we've got just what you are looking for! One hundred percent of all the terrain on the Mountain is open for you to enjoy! From easy rolling hills to extreme limits skiing, you can find it all right here at Crested Butte Mountain Resort! While you are up on the Mountain enjoying all the new snow, you are sure to build up an appetite. Whether it's fuel to start your bodies in the morning or a mid afternoon snack to keep you going, stop by one of the delicious eateries located throughout the Mountain. Crested Butte Mountain Resort has everything from a gourmet lunch at Atmosphere Restaurant located at the base of the Mountain, to a mouth-watering burger at Paradise Warming House located on the Mountain. You can ski right up to the Ice Bar located at the bottom of the Twister Lift.
