Good morning all you skiers and riders out there! Two new inches of snow is what we received on this beautiful Friday Morning! We've got partly cloudy skies outside as the day breaks and temperatures should reach the low thirties! Snow is in the forecast for today but those clouds should be breaking up by tomorrow and we could see plenty of sunshine over the closing weekend!
It's currently 25 degrees outside with light snowfall and calm winds. We have received an amazing 27 inches of snowfall in the last seven days, giving us a record breaking natural snow depth of 100 inches! You can look forward to a great day on the Mountain with plenty of powder left for you to ski or ride. We've also got 380 acres of meticulously groomed runs and our groomers choice for today is Peoria!
Some things never change. If you've got to eat, you may as well eat exceptional food. From fast to fancy, casual to gourmet, your dining options here at Crested Butte Mountain Resort are SUPERP! Mountain choices include the elegant Ice Bar and Restaurant, the classy Rustica Ristorante, tapas at the new Trackers Bar and Lounge, WoodStone Grille, the happening Butte 66 Roadhouse BBQ, cafeteria-style food at Paradise Warming House, and Al's Camp 4 Coffee for brats and snacks. There's no chance of going hungry with all these wonderful eating establishments to choose from!
Need a break? Looking to warm yourself up with a wonderful hot cocoa and schnapps or a delicious afternoon martini? Don't fret because we've got the perfect place for you. You can ski right up to the Ice Bar located at the bottom of the Twister Lift. It's a great place to sit for a while and enjoy the specatacular views while sipping on one of their many specialy drinks!
