Good Morning skiers and riders! It's shaping up to be another spectacular weekend here at Crested Butte Mountain Resort! Paradise lift is officially open for the season giving you access to five new trails including Paradise Bowl, Upper Ruby Chief, Upper Canaan, and the Upper and Lower Forest Queen runs. Our snow making teams are now focusing their efforts on the Silver Queen lift with hopes of having it up and running by the end of next week. You can call the snowreport line at 349 2323 or check out our websight for up to date information on new terrain openings!
We are reporting one and a half inches of snow overnight, four and a half inches of snow in the last 48 hours, and nineteen and a half inches in the last seven days! We now have 138 total acres open of which 110 are groomed to perfection. You have a choice of four lifts to ski or ride today giving you access to 19 glorious trails! Don't forget to take a run down Paradise Bowl because it is our groomer's choice for today! The conditions on the Mountain today on this beautiful Friday will be packed powder with clear skies and calm winds. Our high today will be 30 degrees with skies clearing and temperatures increasing over the weekend. We will see clouds begin to accumulate by the beginning of next week with snow showers expected on Monday and Tuesday!
