Good Morning skiers and riders and Welcome to all our guests who are joining us for the Holiday Weekend! This is the Crested Butte Mountain Resort snow report for Saturday, January 17th! It's shaping up to be a beautiful weekend with clear skies and temperatures expected to remain in the low thirties. All sixteen lifts are up and running and will remain open throughout the long weekend! Today you will have access to 94 trails all spread out across 1152 acres of terrain. Seventy four of those trails have been groomed, so don't forget to take a ride down Upper Keystone because it is our groomer's choice for today! Our hard working groomers have also chosen the DC Superpipe as one of their groomers choices, so take a run by and check it out! It's been a great season so far with 163 inches of snowfall, giving us a natural snow depth of 50 inches! We've got clear skies and calm winds as the day breaks and the conditions on the Mountain today will be packed powder. One hundred percent of the main mountain is open! Eighty one percent of our famous extreme terrain is also open for all you extreme skiers and riders, so come up and enjoy yourselves on this beautiful Holiday Weekend! If you are looking for something extra special to do while you are here, then book yourself and your friends on a Sleigh ride dinner to Rustica Ristorante! Enjoy a truly unique dining experience where half the fun is getting there! Ride in an open sleigh pulled by one of our snowcats to the backside of the Mountain. There you will dine at the Rustica Ristorante in Paradise Warming House. Enjoy a tantalizing four-course dinner featuring a full bar and handpicked wine list to complement the evening.Then bundle up afterwards to take the sleigh back to the base area. Reservations are required and can be made by calling 970 349 4554. If you find yourself getting hungry on the hill today, ski down to 9380 Prime located in the Elevation Hotel at the base area by the Red Lady Express lift. Whether you're in the mood for breakfast, lunch, an apres ski snack and beverage, or a more fine dining dinner option, 9380 Prime will serve it up right! This ski-in/ski-out restaurant features a newly expanded outdoor bar and deck for enjoying that beautiful Colorado sunshine! You can also cozy up by their large outdoor firepit.
