On this Wednesday, the 21st of January, we have 100% of the main mountain open, including 100% of beginner, intermediate and advanced terrain, as well as 92% of the Extreme terrain. But all you snow hounds out there, don't worry because snow is expected to start coming down on Thursday and continue that way through the weekend adding on to the 163 inches of snowfall the mountain has already received this season; looks like there is a little something to make everyone happy. As you are deciding which one of the 15 out of 16 scenic chair lifts to take (remember Teocalli Lift will be closed until Friday and then will reopen this weekend), keep in mind you have 1191 skiable acres to choose from, 481 of which are groomed. The groomers have created Colorado's best corduroy on 69 out of the 102 runs open, and today their groomer's choice is Jokerville. The DC Superpipe is also open and cut, so no matter what your skis or board are craving, you're sure to find it here at Crested Butte Mountain Resort. After a long day of skiing or riding, food is on a lot of people's mind. But sometimes sitting in the bath at one of the luxurious hotels located throughout the base of Mt.
