We've received 9 inches of snow in the last 24 hours, with 2 of those inches falling in the last 12 hours. The good news continues because we've got an 80 percent chance of snowfall in the forecast for today and more snow showers are expected through Wednesday! It's been a great season so far with a total season snowfall accumulation of 194 inches! There's going to be tons of deep powder for you to ski or ride today and you'll have your choice of 102 trails to carve! One hundred percent of the main mountain is open as well as 93 percent of our extreme terrain. You've got 15 scenic lifts to choose from that will get you to all your favorite spots on the hill today! I can't think of a better way for you to spend your Monday than by coming up and having a blast on 1191 powdery acres all spread out on top of a 60 inch base! I guarantee you'll be smiling the whole time! Did you know that Crested Butte Mountain Resort features 3 terrain parks and a superpipe, in addition to a ton of natural features in locations all over the Mountain? Check out the links on our website to check out the goods and get yourself informed on where and what the pipe and parks are all about! Crested Butte Mountain Resort is also the new proud host of the DC Southwest USASA series for the 2008-2009 season! These events are open to all amateur riders and the entry fees are $25 per event. And remember, you must be a USASA member to compete. Visit usasa.org for more information. Don't miss the second series of park and pipe events on February 7th and 8th or the boarder and skiercross on March 14th and 15th!
