Good Morning skiers and riders! This is your Crested Butte Mountain Resort snow report for Friday, January 30th. I can't think of a better way to start the weekend than by heading up to the Mountain today and enjoying yourself on the slopes! Forty three inches of snow has fallen in just the last week leaving us with a fantastic 60 inch base. Come up and enjoy yourself on 1191 acres of terrain! There's still plenty of powder stashes to be found, but if you are in the mood for some corduroy, you can take your pick of 74 groomed acres! Today you'll have your choice of 15 scenic lifts to choose from giving you access to 1191 acres of terrain! Our hard working grooming team has chosen Lower Twister as their choice for best groomed run, so take a run down and check it out! With over 206 inches of snowfall so far this season, we're having a great time on the Mountain! One hundred percent of our beginner, intermediate, and advanced terrain is open, as well as 93 percent of our always exciting, extreme terrain! No matter what your skill level, there's always plenty of great runs for you to ski or ride! It looks like we are in for two days of beautiful Colorado blue bird skies! But don't worry all you powder lovers, because snow showers are expected to roll back in on Sunday! Temperatures will remain in the mid twenties with light winds, so don't forget to bundle up! It is currently 11 degrees as the day breaks, with highs expected to reach 26 degrees. You can expect packed powder and powder conditions on the hill today, so come on up and see what Colorado skiing and riding is all about!
