Good Morning Folks this is your Crested Butte Mountain Resort snow report for Friday, January 6th. I can't think of a better way to enjoy the weekend than by heading up to the Mountain and enjoying yourself on the slopes! Today you'll have your choice of 15 scenic lifts to choose from, giving you access to 1233 acres of terrain. One hundred and three trails are open, 75 of which have been groomed into "Colorado's Best Corduroy"! Our hard working groomers have selected Upper Keystone as their choice for best groomed run on the Mountain today, so take a ride down and check it out!

With over 206 inches of snowfall this season, and a natural snow depth of 53 inches, Crested Butte Mountain Resort is the place to come ski or ride! One hundred percent of our beginner, intermediate, and advanced terrain is open, as well as 100 percent of our always exciting, extreme terrain! No matter what your skill level is, there are always plenty of great runs for you to come ski or ride!

In other great news, the forecast is looking good this weekend with snow showers expected through Monday! We've got partly cloudy skies outside as the day breaks and we could see snow fall today with a fifty percent chance of precipitation. The rest of the weekend is looking similar with temperatures remaining in the low thirties. So get ready all you powder skiers and riders, because we could be in for some more fresh snow!

Now that all of our extreme terrain is open, it's probably a good time to contact Crested Butte Adventure Guides and sign yourself up for an On-Mountain Adventure! Their PSIA/AMGA Certified Guides will help you explore all the terrain that Crested Butte Mountain Resort has to offer! Their experienced guides will also evaluate your needs and give you a Mountain experience you will never forget. They will take you on an adventure on the North Face as well as show you hidden powder stashes on the lower mountain. Guests will be supplied for the day with a backpack and other necessities needed for hiking and exploring the Mountain. Backcountry equipment will also be available to those who are interested in learning how to use it. For more information on schedules and prices, check out the links on our website or call 800 444 9236 to reserve your next adventure!

With all the fantastic terrain available to ski or ride, there are plenty of adventures waiting for you here at Crested Butte Mountain Resort!! Have a great day and we'll see you on the slopes!
