Good Morning Folks this is your Crested Butte Mountain Resort snow report for Saturday, January 7th. It looks like more snow is on the way with showers expected through the weekend and into next week! You can expect temperatures to remain in the lower thirties as well. So get ready because we are in for some perfect skiing and riding conditions!
Today you'll have your choice of 16 scenic lifts, giving you access to 103 trails all spread out across 1233 acres of terrain. Four hundred and eighty one of those acres have been groomed into "Colorado's Best Corduroy", so don't forget to take a run down Upper Ruby Chief because it is our groomer's choice for today! It's been a great season so far with a total of 206 inches of snowfall. We've got a natural snow depth of 53 inches and 100% of the entire mountain, including our famous extreme terrain, is open!
Once you've had a great day on the hill, why not sign yourself up for an extra special evening? You can by booking you and your friends on a sleigh ride dinner to Rustica Ristorante! Enjoy a truly unique dining experience where half the fun is getting there! Ride in an open sleigh pulled by a snow cat to the backside of the Mountain. There you will dine at the Rustica Ristorante in the Paradise Warming House. Enjoy a tantalizing four-course dinner featuring a full bar and handpicked wine list to compliment the evening. Then bundle up afterwards to take the sleigh back to the base area. Reservations are required and can be made by calling 970 349 4554.
Kids can enjoy a fun Kids' Night Out as well! The fun loving instructors at Camp CB will treat then to activities like tubing, movies, pizza dinner, and other fun indoor and outdoor activities! Children ages 4-12 are welcome and the cost per child is $85. Kids' Night Out takes place every week Thursday through Saturday and can be booked by calling 970 349-2259!
