There's so much happening on the Mountain this weekend for competitors and spectators alike! Over on the extreme slopes is the 18th Annual US Extreme Freeskiing Championships happening from 9:00am to 1:00pm with the Super Final right after that from 2:00pm to 3:00pm. These amazing athletes are competing for one of the most coveted titles in the sport of freeskiiing, plus $20.000. will be awarded to top finishers as well as tons of other great prizes! Don't miss out on the chance to see some of the best skiers around, compete in this amazing event!

Happy Saturday Folks this is your Crested Butte Mountain Resort snow report for Saturday, February 21st. I can't think of a better way to enjoy your weekend than by heading up to the Mountain today and having some fun on the slopes! Come up and enjoy yourselves on 1250 acres of terrain, 480 of which have been groomed into "Colorado's Best Corduroy"! Sixteen lifts are up and running, giving you access to 104 fun filled trails all spread across a natural snow depth of 61 inches. If it's groomers you are thinking about hitting today, be sure and take a ride down Crystal because it is our groomers choice. Today's weather is calling for partly cloudy skies with temperatures expected to reach 30 degrees. We have clear skies outside as the day breaks and the conditions on the Mountain are powder and packed powder.

Also happening today is the Dan Prater Memorial Cup! This three-event, five-race series for the J-4 racers is a qualifier for the Alpine J4 Junior Olympics of the Central/Rocky Mountain Division. Athletes ages 11-12 will be competing for the honor of qualifying for the Junior Olympics! Also, for all you mono and bi-skiers, the Adaptive Sports Center is hosting the Mono and Bi-Ski Fiesta! This three-day, action-packed camp introduces skiers of all levels to a variety of terrain on Mt. Crested Butte. Stop by the Adaptive Sports Center of call 970 349 5075 ext 108 for more information!
