Good morning my people! This is Colorado's very own Snow Betty with the snow report for Crested Butte Mountain Resort on Sunday, the first day of March. The winter just keeps getting better and better. We've had a beautiful weekend and today will be more of the same. We have been blessed with a total of 254 inches of snow this winter season, creating a significant base of 70 inches at the top and 51 inches at midway. Skiers and riders can cruise down 66 groomed trails, and test their various skills on 38 additional ungroomed trails.

We received no new snow in the last 24 hours, 1 inch in the last 48 hours and a toal of 14 inches in just the last week. Currently, 15 lifts are up and running, and the groomer's choice is Crystal, just one of our favorite, single black-diamond runs on the front side of the mountain. Today and tomorrow, you can expect partly cloudy skies and temperatures between 16 and 40 degrees. By mid-week, we're going to see more snow moving into the Gunnison Valley. With numbers and conditions like these, you'll understand why Crested Butte Mountain Resort is THE winter destination for your skiing and riding adventure.
