Good morning Crested Butte Mountain Resort! Today is Thursday, March 12th, 2009 and it's set to be another perfect day on the slopes! Temperatures are expected to reach the upper 30's with a 40% chance of snow for today. This forecast is supposed to continue through the weekend, adding more snow to the 268 inches the mountain has already received this year. The past week has brought Crested Butte Mountain over a foot of snow, making the 66 inch base nothing short of powderific! Perfectly groomed cruisers or heart beating bumps and moguls, Crested Butte has it all; and with 100% of the mountain open, the options are endless. There are 1250 skiable acres open, including 480 of which have been groomed. This is equivalent to 104 total runs open and 65 that the groomers have created Colorado's best corduroy on. Take your pick on any of the 15 chair lifts that are open, leading you to some of the greatest skiing and riding you could ask for. Why not try something new today?
