SNOW SNOW SNOW...BRING ON THE SPRING SNOW!!!

Announcements
It may be Spring for most of the country, but it's still Winter in Crested Butte! I'm happy to report that we have received another 8 inches of the fluffy white stuff over night, so we will be skiing and riding more POWDER on this beautiful, Friday Morning! With 24 inches of fresh powder dumping on the legendary slopes of Crested Butte in just the last week, the skiing and riding has been so much fun! You may be sore from ripping it up in the 10 inches of powder on the hill yesterday, but with just over a week left in the season, and great conditions on the Mountain today, there's no excuse for not getting up on the hill and enjoying nature's wonderful bounty! It doesn't get better than Springtime in Crested Butte!

Currently, 11 lifts are up and running giving you access to 1155 acres of some of the best terrain on the planet!! Our hard working grooming teams have buffed out 68 trails of "Colorado's Best Corduroy" for you to enjoy. We've had a great season so far, with over 292 inches of snowfall. Our natural snow depth is 72 inches and the conditions on the Mountain today will be more powder! The forecast is calling for more snowfall with a 40% chance of precipitation and temperatures should reach the mid twenties.

Attention pass holders! Become the most popular friend around by taking advantage of the Spring savings at Crested Butte Mountain Resort and treat a friend to a discounted day pass! Through the end of the season, you can come to the Adventure Center with your 08-09 Crested Butte Season Pass and your lucky friend, and Crested Butte Mountain Resort will hook them up with a $30 discount off the regular adult ticket price! It's a great way to help get your friends or family a fun day on the hill! Trust me, they'll love you for it!

In other fun news, tonight at the stroke of midnight, the 12th Annual Elk Mountain Grand Traverse will commence at the base of Mt Crested Butte and finish at Aspen Mountain. For those of you not familiar with the Grand Traverse, it's a 40 mile extreme endurance race that links Crested Butte to Aspen through remote wilderness terrain and across two mountain passes! It's always fun to watch the start of this amazing endurance race and cheer on those brave athletes. For more information about the Grand Traverse, call 349 7133.

I can't wait to ride more powder today and I know you can't either! Have wonderful day and I'll see you up on the slopes!
