Well Folks it's looking like another gorgeous day here on the slopes of Crested Butte! The skiing and riding has been incredible this Spring and we couldn't be happier! Crested Butte Mountain Resort has received an amazing 24 inches in just the last week, leaving us with a fantastic 72 inch base. We've got 99 fun and diverse trails open, with 67 of those trails meticulously groomed into "Colorado's Best Corduroy". The groomer's choice for best groomed run on the Mountain today is Ruby Chief top to bottom!

There are plenty of other great runs for you to enjoy today as well! Currently, 89% of our Beginner and Intermediate terrain is open, 100% of our Advanced terrain is open, and 92% of our exciting Extreme terrain is open and waiting for you to come dig your edges into! Whether you're into smooth rolling hills or heart pumping extreme slopes, you're sure to find the perfect runs on the Mountain today! Eleven lifts are running and ready to transport you and your friends around the slopes. Keep in mind as you make you way around the Hill today that the Peachtree, Mountain School, Prospect, Twister, and Teocalli lifts will be closed for the rest of the season, however; the Twister lift will reopen for the last weekend on April 4th and 5th.

Have you taken advantage of the Spring savings at Crested Butte Mountain Resort yet and treated a friend to a discounted day pass? It's a great time to hook up your passless friends with a great day on the Hill as we finish up the season! Grab a friend and head up to the Adventure Center with your 08-09 Crested Butte Season Pass and Crested Butte Mountain Resort will hook your buddy up with a $30 discount off the regular adult ticket price!

You and your lucky friend can come up and check out the 5th Annual Slush Huck which is the final Park and Pipe event of the season. Today and tomorrow, both the DC Superpipe and the DC Terrain Park will be host to this super-pipe and slopestyle event. Then don't miss the always hilarious pond skimming competition at the base area while you and your lucky friend enjoy a tasty beverage from the deck of Butte 66. It's guaranteed good times and lots of laughs!

With just over a week left in the season and great skiing and riding conditions, there's no excuse for not getting up on the Hill! So grab a friend and come up and have some fun! Have a great day and we'll see you on the slopes!
