Good morning and welcome to yet another terrific and exciting day here at Crested Butte Mountain Resort; because on this Wednesday, the 19th day of February, I am thrilled to announce that we are now 100% OPEN! Yes, wall to wall and peak to bottom open, meaning every inch of this mountain is ready to get skied and ridden on! The 14 lifts spinning today are anxiously waiting to take you to the 100 plus trails open, 67 of which are covered with Colorado’s best corduroy. On top of unbeatable skiing and riding options, you can expect snowy skies and temperatures reaching the upper 30’s. Thanks to the EIGHTEEN feet of snow the mountain has already received this season, the 76 inch base is skiing and riding brilliantly! Anything and everything you decide to point your skis and boards down, you’re sure to end with a smile on your face; but give Lower Treasury a whirl as it has been dubbed the groomer’s choice of the day!
The fun continues even after the lifts stop spinning with Butte 66’s last Wednesday night of the comedy series, with special guests Andrew Orvedahl and Kristin Rand. Tickets are $10 and can be pre purchased at Butte 66 or at the door. Don’t miss out on this hysterical evening!
After hitting it hard on the slopes or before taking in some more laughs, enjoy mouth watering cuisine and thirst quenching happy hour deals at Butte 66, where every taste bud WILL be satisfied!
