Good Morning skiers and riders! And and warm WELCOME to all of you fabulous visitors from far and wide! It's great to have you here! I just want to mention a few stats to help you get acquainted with what's happening on the Mountain today. Currently 13 lifts are up and running, including the East River lift which opens today! If you haven't yet experienced the thrills of East River, then today is your day! You'll have 84 trails to ski or ride, with 79 of those trails groomed to perfection by our hard working grooming teams. They buffed out Lower Twister, and it is our groomer's choice for today. We've been watching the snow stack up over the last week, and we've had a season total snowfall of 90 inches. That's over seven feet! The recent snowfall has left us with a natural snow depth of 41 inches and provided us with stellar skiing and riding conditions. For current information on the status of lift and trail openings, and a look at what has been groomed, you can always click on TRAIL STATUS in the SNOW AND GROOMIN REPORT section of our website. The weather experts are predicting another beautiful day in Crested Butte with clear skies and temperatures expected to reach 30 degrees. By the looks of it, snow will be rolling back in by Tuesday and we could be skiing and riding more Powder over the Christmas Holiday! Christmas in Crested Butte is always a special time for all!
