A happy Christmas Eve Day, skiers and riders of Crested Butte Mountain Resort! Today is Thursday, December 24th, and what a lovely day it's going to be. With 94 inches of snow that has fallen so far this season, 4 of which fell in the past 48 hours, the skiing and riding is better than ever! With temperature reaching the mid teens today and more snow expected throughout the day and into tomorrow, Christmas Day, is looking even merrier.

85% of the entire mountain is open, which includes 85 trails, 71 of which have been perfectly groomed by the hard working groomers; they even recommend Paradise Bowl as their groomer's choice today. Take your pick on any of the 14 lifts that are open, leading you to 554 skiable acres, all lying on a powder packed 38 inch base. The snow makers and groomers are working hard day and night, getting the DC Superpipe and Terrain Park open as soon as possible; but in the mean time, test out your skills at the jib park located at the base of Warming House Hill, where there are obstacles and features for all levels of jibbers.

After a long day of skiing and riding Colorado's most amazing terrain and your stomach is growling, take a break at one of the many eateries located throughout all of Crested Butte Mountain Resort. From grab and go lunches and snacks at Paradise Warming House, located at the base of Paradise Lift, to sitting down and relaxing at Butte 66 Roadhouse, there's something out there for everyone; and this year, there's even more out there to satisfy everyone's taste buds as CBMR has recently opened two new restaurants with delicious food options along with great atmosphere. Try the Ice Bar at Uley's Cabin, located at the base of Twister Lift, where they serve mouth watering gourmet lunches daily inside the new cabin; or have a seat outside at the always superb Ice Bar, where your drink will be nothing short of thirst quenching cool. Also new this season is Jefe's, located in Mountaineer Square, where sizzling burritos are only one of the delectable options available. No matter what you're craving, or when you're craving it, it's all here at Crested Butte Mountain Resort!

The holidays are here, make it a day to remember at Crested Butte Mountain Resort!
