Good Morning skiers and riders! Hope you are having a wonderful Saturday! The weekend has arrived and it is shaping up to be a great one! Shed those stuffy work clothes for some ski gear and come up and ride any one of 14 lifts open today! With 554 total acres of terrain open, you'll have your choice of 84 exciting trails, all spread out across a magic, 37 inch base. Fifty eight of those fun filled trails have been groomed, and our hard working groomers have chosen Upper Caanan and Paradise Bowl as their choice for best groomed runs on the Mountain today! Don't forget that the USASA Southwest Series Slopestyle Event is also going on this weekend, so the superpipe has been freshly cut! It looks like temperatures will be warming up as well with highs expected to reach 29 degrees. Be sure and hit the base area to purchase yourself plenty of sunscreen because the weather experts are predicting sunny skies. It is going to be a beautiful start to the weekend! Looking for something fun to do with the kids? Well, why not treat them to a great ski vacation at no extra cost! With any adult reservation, we'll hook your kids up with FREE skiing, airfare, and lodging! Plus, once they get here there are plenty of great activities waiting for them, like the new base area Adventure Park complete with year-round ice-skating, bungee trampolines, a climbing wall, and lift-served tubing! Yes I said lift-served! How good is that! There's also plenty to learn at Camp CB during their Winter Kids Program, which has authentic experience-based adventure opportunities, designed just for kids. Not only will they learn how to ski or snowboard, but they'll have a blast doing it! After a packed day of skiing or riding with family and friends, you are sure to work up an appetite, and Crested Butte Mountain Resort has plenty of dining options that are sure to satisfy everyone's cravings! Check out The WoodStone Grille, located in the Grand Lodge, or the Butte 66 located right at the base area, offering mouth watering BBQ and thirst quenching drinks.
