We have received 3 inches of new snow in the last 24 hours, 2 of which fell after the lifts closed yesterday. More importantly, I heard from a little birdie that Third Bowl is probably opening today, so be sure to read all signs and notifications from our superior Ski Patrol and Lift Maintenance crew. If this rumor is true, then we will have access to 100% of our terrain as of today- that's all beginner, intermediate, advanced and Extreme terrain. Crested Butte Mountain Resort offers you a total of 1144 acres of accessible terrain, including 390 groomed acres of Colorado's Best Corduroy. In the way of trails, we have a total of 110 for you to explore including 74 groomed trails as well as the Groomer's Choice today, International. With all of our 16 lifts shuttling skiers and riders up the hill, there will be more than love in the air today and with snow showers expected today and throughout the work week, the love just continues to grow. Get out of bed and spend your Valentine's Day at Crested Butte Mountain Resort. There is still time to make your reservations for dining with your honey today. The Ice Bar located at the base of the Twister Lift, is a great spot to sip on your favorite libations and enjoy the vistas we enjoy every day here at Crested Butte Mountain Resort.
