The party begins at 7:30 pm at the Eldo and will feature local musicians Steve Snyder and Jim Sandy and will be headlined by the infamous Grayson Capps and the Stumpknockers. Tickets are $25 and include membership with the HCCA, and a good time will be had by all. I hope to see you there!

This weekend at the Center for the Arts, the CB Dance Collective will perform "Move the Butte." Check out our very diverse and local dancing talent while enjoying another evening at our beloved Center for the Arts in downtown Crested Butte. There are two shows this weekend- this evening at 7pm and Sunday afternoon at 4:30. Adult tickets are $15 and kids cost only $5, so bring the whole family along. Announcements
Good morning everybody! This is Colorado's very own Snow Betty with the snow report for Crested Butte Mountain Resort on Saturday, March 6, 2010. Two inches of fresh snow has fallen in the last 24 hours, and we've had three inches in the last 48 hours. Conditions on the mountain are packed powder and there is a whopping total of 1144 acres of accessible terrain. With 111 trails accessed by 15 chair lifts, you are sure to cover some ground today and declare your favorite trail of the weekend. If you dig the groomers, then you have 72 trails to choose from, including the Groomer's Choice today, Treasury. The Superpipe is open and freshly cut for all you rippers out there!

It sounds like temps are going to remain relatively high again today, reaching 37 degrees mid-day. Skies are expected to be partly cloudy and you know that famous Colorado sunshine will be poking its head out intermittently all day long. I think we will see snow showers move in over night and stay with us through the beginning of the work week- there is a 60% chance of snow Sunday and Monday so feel free to do a little snow dance tonight!

We've got airfare, lodging and lift ticket specials going on through the end of the season, and if you haven't made your plans to visit Crested Butte, I suggest you remedy that straight away. Call our friendly reservationists at Crested Butte Vacations so that they can help you expertly plan your vacation in Crested Butte. There is a package for every budget, especially if you're bringing those kids along. Call Crested Butte Vacations at 1-800-810-7669 to make your reservations today!

As usual, your March calendar should be full. Between the USASA Southwest Series Superpipe, the Big Air on Elk, the 14th Annual Telemark Freeskiing Championships, the Al Johnson and Yonder Mountain Skitown Breakdown, every week is packed with lively events at Crested Butte Mountain Resort. This weekend is no exception.

We are in our last month of the 2009-2010 winter season here at Crested Butte Mountain Resort, and we're going out with a bang. This is Colorado's very own Snow Betty encouraging you to get on the horn and make your reservations today, and get your ski town fix at Crested Butte Mountain Resort. I'll see you on the hill.
