Good Morning skiers and riders! It is shaping up to be a BEAUTIFUL week! Today is Monday, March 15th and it looks like it is going to be another fantastic day here in Crested Butte! Today, you can hop on any one of 16 lifts that will transport you around the Mountain. With 1144 acres of terrain open, you'll have plenty of runs to keep you entertained on the Hill, including 111 fun filled trails. Don't forget to take a run down Crystal because it is our groomer's choice for today! We've had a season total snowfall of 192 inches leaving us will a powder packed, 53 inch base. Skies are clear as the day breaks and the conditions on the Mountain will be packed powder. Have you ever tried telemark skiing? It is truly beautiful and very difficult to master. Well, this March 18th - 20th, over 100 free-heelers take to the slopes to compete in the US Telemark Extremes! The two-day big mountain event attracts the biggest names in the telemark industry and is unique to Crested Butte. Free telemark demos and specialty clinics also take place during this Telemark celebration. Be sure and check it out! It's March Folks and some of the best skiing and riding conditions of the season, are waiting for you on the powdery slopes of Crested Butte Mountain Resort!
