Announcements
Good morning ski bunnies and snow hounds. This is Colorado's very own Snow Betty with the snow report for Crested Butte Mountain Resort on Saturday March 27, 2010. We've met the 200 inch mark this season because in the last 24 hours, we've been dusted with a fresh two inches of snow. Forecasters are calling for 60% snow showers today, with things clearing up tomorrow through the beginning of the work week. Crested Butte Mountain Resort has great spring skiing and riding conditions, with a 53" base at the top and over 1100 accessible acres of terrain. Today,we have 350 acres of groomed terrain, including the Groomer's Choice, which is Keystone.

People love Crested Butte for its steep pitches and remarkable vistas. You can ride 14 lifts up to unmatched terrain, including 98% of our Extreme Terrain. If you've never ventured into Extreme territory, you should consider an Extremes with Ease lesson with one of our talented ski or ride instructors. The Crested Butte Ski & Ride School offers lessons with well-versed instructors who can help you ski the Extremes safely and skillfully. Call 1-800-444-9236 for pricing on lessons for today and the upcoming week. If you're ready to take your skiing and riding to the next level, you should definitely make that call.

Well, my plan for the morning includes some hearty breakfast and a quick change into my ski clothes. Be sure to hit up the sales still going on at the base area. Elevation Station, Crested Butte Ski & Ride in the Treasury Center and Thin Air Sports in Mountaineer Square are rocking their very own sales on outer and casual wear. Now is the time to get styley for next season. Happy shopping, skiing and riding- I'll see you on the hill.
