Announcements
Good morning, Crested Butte skiers and riders! Today is Monday, January 3rd, 2011 and it's going to be another great day on the hill! Three inches of snow has fallen in the past 24 hours; and with more than a foot of snow that has fallen on Crested Butte Mountain in the past week, and a total of 189 inches of snow so far this season, the skiing and riding is better than ever. The best part is, the snow is still falling and is expected to continue for the rest of the day and tomorrow, with temperatures reaching the comfortable mid 20 range.

16 out of 16 lifts are open today, leading you to 100 diverse and exciting trails, spread throughout a powder packed 62 inch base. Thanks to the hard working groomers, snow makers, and ski patrol, 1036 skiable acres of trails are open, 450 of which have been perfectly groomed. 100% of beginner, intermediate and advanced terrain is open, as well as 60% of Crested Butte's infamous extreme terrain.

As you can see there is so much to ski and ride on Crested Butte Mountain, so there's a good chance your legs may need to take a break and you may need some refueling. No matter if you are looking for a sit down place to rest, or a quick grab and go snack so you don't miss any time on the slopes, the options are endless around Mt. CB. From anytime burritos at Jefe's, located in Mountaineer Square, to sit down BBQ at Butte 66, to burgers, soups, salads and more at Paradise Warming House, pleasantly situated at the base of Paradise Lift, the folks at CBMR have it all for you and are awaiting your company! There are also a variety of breakfast and dinner options available on the mountain, and Guest Services is more than happy to help you with recommendations and answer your questions.

It's 2011, so why not start your year off the right way, with a trip to the glorious slopes of Crested Butte Mountain Resort. With the deals going on right now, it would be silly to pass them up!
