Announcements
Good morning skiers and riders. This is Colorado's very own Snow Betty with the snow report for Crested Butte Mountain Resort on Wednesday, March 30, 2011. We've had a trace of snow overnight that will add a smooth top coat to the 7 inches we've received in the last 48 hours. Crested Butte is riding high with a natural snow depth of 92 at the top and 72 at midway, all thanks to a great season of snow and the 35 inches of snow that has fallen in just the last week. You couldn't ask for anything more during the final week of the season!

Today you can ride 13 lifts up the mountain to access 1167 acres of terrain, including 470 groomed acres. With cold temperatures overnight, the groomers will be great by mid-morning, so be sure to check out the Groomer's Choice today, Treasury, alongside a total of 75 groomed trails. All told, you have 105 trails to ski and ride today with 100% of our Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced and Extreme Terrain available. Take your pick- Crested Butte Mountain Resort aims to please!

I was riding up the lift with a buddy the other day who was ready to buy his season pass for next year. Now is the time to do it, with season pass rates as low as they go. If you buy now while the deals are smoking, you'll get Adult Platinum Passes for $999, Gold Passes for $899, and you'll receive a couple of $50 Buddy Tickets just to seal the deal. Mountain Cards include 10-day passes, the E-Z Pass, the X-Card and the CB Card with lots of purchasing levels fit for your piggy bank. I know you'll be back for more next year, so go to skicb.com to figure out what kind of pass you'll be purchasing for next season.

I'm going to keep things short and sweet today. You can expect to see some snow showers today and tomorrow with things clearing up for Friday and Saturday. It's an epic way to end an epic season- 359 inches and counting. Have a great day- I'll see you on the hill.
