Blanketed by almost four feet of snow since December 1st, Crested Butte Mountain Resort is excited to announce that the High Lift, which accesses our famous "Extreme Limits", opens today! The High Lift services the Headwall, one of signature runs in the Extreme Limits. This is one of the earliest openings for CBMR's Extreme terrain in ten years. We have had no new snow in the past 24 hours and our base is 42 inches with deep powder, packed powder, and sweetly groomed conditions. Today's groomers choice is Upper Ruby Chief to Ruby Steep to Lower Ruby Chief. With more than 90% of the mountain open, lots of new snow, sunshine in the forecast, we are looking at a perfect Colorado ski weekend! Remember, when you bring a vehicle with 4 or more people, you park for Free in the main lot. We'll see you in the Extremes up in the Butte' this weekend!
