20 new inches of snow over the past 48 hours! Mother Nature continues to smile as the snow keeps falling on Crested Butte Mountain! CBMR’s snowcat grooming crews are working non-stop to open as much terrain as possible by opening day. With the natural snow depths already hovering at nearly three feet, the locals are counting the days until the mountain opens! Make sure to stop in at Paradise Warming House and enjoy a quick fresh lunch or a beverage at the Rustica Bar! Butte 66 and the new Atmosphere Bar & Restaurant in the Elevation Hotel at the base area will be open as well as the Woodstone Grill and Deli located in the Grand Lodge! Let the season begin!
