Good morning all you skiers and riders out there! And what a good morning it is! We've got SNOW SNOW SNOW! The gods were good to us last night and dumped 12 inches of fresh powder, and it continues with no signs of letting up! In fact, there's more snow in the forecast for today with about 12 more inches expected in the next 24 hours! Keep it coming!
We've got beautiful powder conditions up here,and EVERY run is magic! Skiers and riders can look forward to temperatures in the high twenties to lower thirties for the next few days. We're currently experiencing calm winds with occasional gusts. Our base depth is 27 inches and our groomers choice for today is Houston.
You really have to get up here and see and experience all this beautiful snow for yourself because this is what Colorado skiing is all about! It really doesn't get better than this! We've got five lifts open and 14 trails ready for you to come up and shred. Our incredible grooming teams are working this morning to try and open additional terrain today! You can continue to monitor our websight for any new ropes that will be dropping throughout the day.
All this powder skiing can really wear a person out! Be sure to pop into Paradise Warming House today for a little breather. Paradise Warming House offers cafeteria-style breakfasts and fresh lunches serving gourmet deli sandwiches, super salads and a selection of daily homemade soups and chili. Yummy!! Enjoy their outdoor grill, extensive seating and spectacular views. Paradise Warming house is located at the bottom of the paradise lift.
