Announcements
This job just keeps getting better! On this beautiful Wednesday morning, the 12th of December, I am thrilled to report Crested Butte Mountain Resort received another 6 inches of incredible fresh white powder in the past 24 hours, making our grand total 70 inches in the past seven days! Temperatures will be in the mid 20’s today, with partly sunny skies and will most likely stay that way through tomorrow. Don’t worry, more snow is in the forecast for Friday! Talk about a perfect day to hit the slopes!

With 8 out of 16 lifts running including Silver Queen, Red Lady Express, Teocalli, East River, Paradise and both the Adult and Kid’s Magic Carpet; and 64 phenomenal trails open, there’s plenty of terrain to go around for everyone! Carve beautiful turns down the stellar 54 inch base taking your pick of fun-packed groomers or leg-working moguls. Groomer’s choice today is the always exhilarating International, but no matter what type of skier or rider you are, Crested Butte Mountain Resort has enough of everything to go around.

As the snow keeps falling, keep your eyes and ears open for the extreme terrain to start opening! That’s right any day now, the ropes will be dropped to some of the best terrain Colorado has to offer. Stay tuned….

Although we may feel as though Santa and his elves have already delivered their present of fluffy, white powder to us, there are still plenty of friends and family members that still need to be shopped for. Have no fear, Crested Butte is here! Throughout the base of the mountain, there is a plethora of shops and boutiques to fulfill all your holiday shopping needs. Stop by the General Store located in the Treasury Center and pick up something for Grandma and Grandpa or head on down to one of the many clothing stores such as Colorado Boarder and deck out your entire family with the latest snowboard gear. Have a picky family, no problem! Give them some Butte Bucks, which are accepted at most restaurants and shops at the base of the mountain including (but not limited to) Butte 66, Paradise Warming House, Butte & Co and so many more…nobody can complain about that!

So really, what are you waiting for? With so much snow, and more lifts and terrain open everyday grab your FREE lift ticket and test ride Crested Butte! (Remember you only have 4 days left to ski Crested Butte for free). You have no reason to miss out on the incredible skiing and riding at Crested Butte Mountain Resort.
See you on the white and fluffy!
