Announcements
Come enjoy Colorado’s Best Corduroy at Crested Butte Mountain Resort, where all of the blue and green runs are groomed nightly. We now have open 100% of our beginner and intermediate terrain, as well as 75% of advanced terrain. Whether you’re looking for some smooth, beginner runs down Peanut, Mineral Point or Keystone, or looking to shake those Monday blahs on Ruby Chief, Bushwhacker or today’s groomer’s choice, Forest Queen- you’ll find just what you’re looking for at the Butte.

If you want to keep warm by doing a little hiking, head on over to Teocalli Bowl and see Crested Butte’s renowned Extreme Limits Terrain. With 24% of our Extreme Terrain open, you should get a taste of what makes Crested Butte unique.

Not sure where you want to go? You can find updated grooming and trail information at almost 50 base area establishments, or just ask any one of CBMR’s associates for a little guidance. Lower the bar on any of the high speed quad lifts and plan out your route while you chat with your friends or jam out to your IPOD.

Don’t forget to turn around and get an eyeful of magnificence. Mostly sunny skies will make for some breathtaking views today. The photo opportunities are endless at Crested Butte Mountain Resort. At the top of the Paradise Lift, you can see Paradise Divide, or from midway of the High Lift, you can see for miles and miles. Keep your eye out for Bubba and Betty Bear- our snowy white mascot bears are always ready for their close-ups.

Butte 66 is the place to be for après ski or to get warm any time during the day. Butte 66 is serving up their famous chile choices- Texas Red or Colorado Green- sweet potato fries, smoked brisket, pulled pork, ribs, burgers, and a slew of sandwiches, salads of soups. Warm up by their indoor fire during après ski and make a few new friends…one is never alone in a town like Crested Butte.

Looking to visit us for the holidays? It’s not too late to get in on some great Christmas ski packages. Go to skicb.com or call the Crested Butte Vacation reservationists at 1-800-810-7669 for more information on great deals for you and your better half, or for the whole family.

We’re expecting to see more of that white stuff closer to Wednesday and Thursday, so stay tuned to the snow report for updates on forecasts and announcements.
