Announcements
Joy to the World, the snow has come! What a terrific, Tuesday it is here at Crested Butte Mountain Resort. With sunny, bluebird skies, highs in the lower 30’s and a 48-inch base, things just can’t get much better! Except of course the fact that we received two inches in the past 24 hours AND there is more snow in the forecast for Wednesday and Thursday!

Cruise down Colorado’s Best Corduroy, which now has 100% of its beginner and intermediate terrain open and groomed daily, or work your legs down the powder heaven of Teocalli Bowl (or any of the other 24% of extreme terrain open). With 12 out of 16 lifts open and 89 runs to fulfill all your ski and snowboard needs, there are plenty of groomed and powder-covered runs for all types of skiers and riders. Groomer’s choice today is Paradise Bowl-always a lovely choice!

With such a beautiful day in store for us, why not take a break and take in some of the breathtaking views from all of the scenic lifts on Crested Butte Mountain. Whether it’s a picture of yourself for that special someone or a group shot for friends and family, take advantage of the Mountain Photographers located throughout the mountain. The Mountain Photo shop is located in the Treasury Center right next to the General Store (where you can also pick up some of those last minute holiday gifts ?). Taking the picture won’t cost you a dime, but once you see how great they turn out, holiday cards will be a lot easier this year!

After a long day of skiing or riding and the thought of the food preparations you have to do over the weekend, why not stop by one of the many restaurants around the mountain? Want to satisfy your burger craving? Head on over to Paradise Warming House, where they serve a mean cheeseburger or warm and perfectly spicy bowl of chili. Interested in treating yourself to an early holiday lunch or dinner? Take a break at the Atmosphere Restaurant, where the chef knows exactly what your taste buds are asking for. No matter what your cravings are, there are plenty of delectable options to go around.

Looking to visit us for the holidays? It’s not too late to get in on some great Christmas ski packages. Go to skicb.com or call the Crested Butte Vacation reservationists at 1-800-810-7669 for more information on great deals for you and your better half, or for the whole family.

Give yourself a present this year, come ski or ride Crested Butte Mountain Resort!
