Lace into those boots and strap on your skis or snowboards- we’ve been lucky enough to receive another five inches of snow on this fine January day, bringing our total new snow to 56 inches in the last seven days. With over four and a half feet of new snow in the past week, and a base of 71 inches, the powder conditions are inspirational! We have a total of 1177 acres of terrain ready and waiting for you to test your powder riding skills- that’s a full 100% of our terrain. Terrain closures due to avalanche control work should be expected and are for the safety of all skiers and riders- be sure to thank all those Ski Patrollers in red for their unrelenting work to get terrain open as quickly and safely as possible. Remember, you’ve got to be here to make first tracks as they lower ropes all over the mountain. The Colorado FreeSkier, located just above the Red Lady Express, wants to wish you a Happy Powder Day!
