Good morning all you skiers and riders out there! It's another BEAUTIFUL day here at Crested Butte Mountain Resort! I'm happy to report that we received seven new inches of snow in the last 24 hours and the wonderful white fluffy snow that we love so much is going to fall all day long! The forecast is calling for 100 percent chance of snow today, a 50 percent chance of snow tomorrow, and we might see a little bit of sunshine by Monday.
You can expect to ski more powder this morning! Winds will be calm and flowing out of the East with temperatures in the lower twenties. All lifts are currently running giving you access to 106 trails of beautiful terrain of all skill levels. Whether you enjoy smooth rolling hills or you prefer to challenge yourself on extreme steeps, you can find exactly what you are looking for right here at Crested Butte Mountain Resort! If it's groomers you prefer today, we've got 490 acres of "Colorado's Best Corduroy" ready for you to come and enjoy! Don't forget to take a few runs on Black Eagle because it is our groomer's choice for today!
Stay tuned for progress on more openings expected to happen in the near future. Our fearless and sleepless teams are working around the clock to get more terrain open including Funnel and Banana! We'll let you know as soon as we do!
