Good morning all you skiers and riders out there! It's a beautiful Sunday morning here at Crested Butte Mountain Resort! We're reporting no new snowfall in the last 24 hours, but not to worry because the forecast is calling for a fifty percent chance tomorrow and a forty percent chance on Tuesday. Today's weather should be clear with warmer temperatures in the mid twenties. Winds will be blowing at about 5 to 10 mph and the conditions on the Mountain today will be packed powder.
We currently have a 62 inch base and a total of 1177 acres open! Thanks to our hard working grooming teams, 480 glorious acres of our total open terrain has been meticulously groomed for your skiing and riding pleasure! So come on up and enjoy "Colorado's Best Corduroy!" Make sure to take a run down Jokerville because it is our groomer's choice for today.
With all the skiing and riding you'll be doing today, you're almost certain to need a break. Well we've got a truly unique experience for you. Take a run down to our very own Ice Bar and Restaurant. Always attracting a crowd, this is the place to see and be seen! The Ice Bar and Restaurant serves up gourmet lunches of upscale regional American Cuisine with French undertones and exotic drinks at a bar made completely out of ice! Sip on a specialty beverage at the end of the day on the large sunny deck, and enjoy the beautiful vistas while people watching! The Ice Bar and Restaurant is Located on the Mountain at the base of the Twister Lift. It's open for lunch and evening Last Tracks Dinners. Reservations are required for Last Tracks Dinners and are recommended for lunch.
We also offer a more casual mountain dining experience at Paradise Warming House. Paradise serves up cafeteria-style breakfasts and fresh lunches offering gourmet deli sandwiches, super salads and a selection of daily homemade soups and chili. Enjoy their outdoor grill, extensive seating and spectacular views. Paradise is located on the Mountain at the base of the Paradise Lift and is open for breakfast and lunch.
There really is so much to do and experience here at Crested Butte Mountain Resort! With beautiful weather and perfect snow conditions, there isn't a better place to be! Have a great day and we'll see you on the slopes!
