The snow has arrived in a very big way, and Ski Season is in full swing! Crested Butte Mountain Resort has excellent conditions for skiers of any ability - the deep powder is there for the taking and the groomers are running nightly laying down Colorado's best corduroy on many green and blue runs.

Good morning all you skiers and riders out there! It's a beautiful Monday morning here at Crested Butte Mountain Resort! We've got partly cloudy skies outside as the day breaks and temperatures should reach the high twenties! We received no new snow in the last 24 hours, but the forecast is calling for a fifty percent chance today and a forty percent chance tomorrow!
It's currently 10 degrees outside with clear skies and calm winds blowing at about 5 to 10 mph. We have a natural snow depth of 62 inches and the surface conditions on the Mountain today will be packed powder. We've got 480 acres of amazing groomed runs ready for you to ski or ride and our groomers choice for today is Lower Forest Queen.
No matter what kind of terrain you enjoy skiing, we've got just what you are looking for! One hundred percent of all the terrain on the Mountain is open for you to enjoy! From easy rolling hills to extreme limits skiing, you can find it all right here at Crested Butte Mountain Resort!

Already an expert skier and looking for an adrenaline rush? Then sign up for a North Face Extreme Limits tour. Guides will show you some of Crested Butte's most challenging, steep terrain. After a fun filled day of shredding it up on the hill, don't miss out on a truly unique dining experience where half the fun is getting there. Ride in an open sleigh pulled by a snowcat to the backside of the Mountain, and there you will dine at the Rustica Ristorante in Paradise Warming House. Enjoy a tantalizing four-course dinner featuring a full bar and handpicked wine list to complement the evening. Then bundle up afterwards to take the sleigh back to the base area.
