Announcements
It’s just not stopping! The snow keeps coming on this Tuesday morning the 29th of January. So far Crested Butte Mountain Resort has received 15 inches of new snow in the past 24 hours, 26 inches in the past 48 hours and a whopping 40 inches in the past 7 days, making the base an eye popping 75 inches! Expect temperatures to stay in the mid teens today, but warm up a little tomorrow through Thursday. The best part is, snow is expected to keep on falling throughout the rest of the week! Who needs the back country, when you have Crested Butte Mountain Resort giving you all the powder your legs can handle!?

With all the amazing white luscious snow falling, groomers are continuing to work throughout the night to make sure Crested Butte’s famous corduroy is still available for all your cruising pleasure! Today’s groomer’s choice: Jokerville. In addition, ski patrol is continuing to work long nights and early mornings to make sure all areas of the mountain are safe for skiing and riding. Keep your eyes and ears open for openings, delays, and closures that are possible throughout the day. And don’t forget to give them a little thank you for all their hard work!

Did you have a long day yesterday and are trying to wake yourself up to get some more fresh turns in? Grab a cup o'Joe at one of the many cafes located throughout the mountain: including The Woodstone Deli located in the Grand Lodge, The Brown Lab Bakery, and Camp 4 Coffee located in the Lodge at Mountaineer Square. No matter where you choose to get your jolt, it will be worth it once you see what’s out there waiting for you!

It’s hard to believe January is almost over! Don’t miss out on the phenomenal powder that’s out there waiting for you at Crested Butte Mountain Resort!
