Good morning and happy weekend to you! We’ve had two inches of snow in the last 24 hours, and about half a foot in the last week. With a 85” inch base, 1177 total acres of lift-accessed terrain and 470 acres of “Colorado’s Best Corduroy,” we’ve got the best recipe for your winter getaway.

If you’re looking to make reservations to visit Crested Butte Mountain Resort, be sure to call Crested Butte Vacations and cash in on great airfare, lodging and ticket deals. Their number is 1-800-810-7669.

If you’re already here and looking for a great way to finish out the weekend, stop by any of the base area restaurants for your Sunday meals. For breakfast, the Woodstone Bar and Grill has the best buffet breakfast in town- or grab a coffee and muffin from Camp Four Coffee before you hit the slopes. For lunch, the Atmosphere Restaurant in the Elevation Hotel serves a mean Atmosphere Picnic that will satisfy the finest tastes, and their dinner menu includes unique specialties like Roasted Pepper and Smoked Pork Pot Pie and their infamous Colorado Rack of Lamb. Dining at the Base Area of Crested Butte Mountain Resort is something you won’t want to miss!

We’ve had a fantastic weekend here at Crested Butte Mountain Resort- yesterday we witnessed two competitors from Whistler BC take the Adult Superfinals in the 17th Annual U.S. Freeskiing Competitions; the venue conditions were perfect and the fans, once again, proved themselves to be the best in the industry. Today is the final day of the Prater Cup- J-4 racers have been competing all weekend for the honor of qualifying for the Junior Olympics. There is no better place to be than at Crested Butte Mountain Resort, where skiing legends are made.

Enjoy your Sunday the Crested Butte way- hop on the free shuttle up the mountain, disembark at the beautiful Mountaineer Square and then hit the slopes for world-renowned skiing and snowboarding. I’ll see you on the hill!
