Top of the mornin' to you, ski bunnies and snow hounds! Today is Monday, March 17th and there couldn’t have been a better way to start the week off than by having 3 inches of fluffy white powder fall ever so perfectly in the past 24 hours, making our 7 day total 20 inches and the base a whopping 89 inches!! On top of the beautiful snow conditions, you can expect to see more snow throughout the day with temperatures in the mid 30’s followed by a tremendous looking Tuesday where temperatures will be around the mid 30's and partly sunny skies.

As you’re making your choice as to which one of the 15 chairlifts to take, remember that Crested Butte has 1177 skiable acres giving you access to 106 amazing trails to make some powderrific turns down. If it’s groomers you’re after, the hard working groomers have worked very diligently to make sure every green and blue run is groomed nightly-we do hold the title for Colorado’s Best Corduroy, 480 acres of it to be exact! For all you powder buffs out there, the options are endless and no matter where you go today, you’re sure to find fresh powder in the extreme terrain Crested Butte is infamous for.

With the incredible powder and amazing terrain here at Crested Butte Mountain Resort, it’s okay to want to take a break, especially when there is a plethora of delicious break stops throughout the mountain. The Atmosphere Restaurant, located in the Elevation Hotel has both a full service restaurant, which is sure to fulfill any craving you may have, and a snack bar located in the lower level of the hotel, where you can get that jolt of energy without wasting anytime on the hill. Butte 66 Roadhouse, which is located at the base of the mountain, not only has a scrumptious menu, but killer views for you to enjoy while giving your legs a break. Finally, if you’re on the hill and don’t feel like making it down to the base, stop by the Paradise Warming House, where their soup, salad, sandwich and everything else you could hope for is only a hop, skip, and jump away AND they have extraordinary views as well! Whether it’s a quick stop or a sit down meal, this mountain has everything you could hope for!

With phenomenal terrain, weather, people, food and more, Crested Butte is the right place to be on this beautifully snowy St. Patty's Day!
