A happy Monday morning to all you skiers and snowboarders out there! It is a spectacular March 24th morning here at Crested Butte and you can expect the day to only get nicer. With temperatures reaching the lower 40's and crystal clear, bluebird skies, spring skiing is at it's finest. With an amazing 85 inch base, shred down any of the 106 trails open that are spread across 1177 acres and accessed by 16 scenic chair lifts. The groomers have done a wonderful job creating Colorado's best corduroy on 470 acres of this fine mountain. Remember every green and blue run is groomed nightly. Whether it's the thrill of the extreme terrain or carving perfect turns down the groomers, Crested Butte has it all. With the sun shining bright and temperatures getting warmer, make sure you have the right gear and protection to make it an even more phenomenal spring. Sunscreen, sunglasses and more are all available at the many retail shops located at the base of the mountain including The Outpost and The General Store, which is located in the Treasury Center. If you're wanting some lighter coats and pants, there is a plethora of shops and boutiques at the base of the mountain that carry the latest styles, which are sure to spice your ski or snowboard outfit up and keep you at the right temperature.
