Great day for fly fishing!
6/30/2014		 Fall is in full swing here in Crested Butte, but we are getting closer and closer to the winter months! These elk were seen on the side of Highway 135. What a sight!
10/20/2013		 Overnight freezes are gone (hopefully) for the next couple of months - until then we get to enjoy baskets of flowers all around town.
6/27/2013		 Blue bird day today, in between a couple of storm systems. The snow is piling up and the skiing and riding is great.
2/25/2013		 Snow has been falling slowly but steadily over the weekend, with more forecast this coming week. This last weekend the High Lift opened, making alot of people around here happy happy!

1/07/2013		 Another 12 inches or so since yesterday's picture. The heated sidewalks make the berms seem a bit smaller than they are in my driveway.
12/19/2012		 Another shot from the same spot as yesterday, the snowbanks are a bit larger, hoping to see them grow again today!
12/18/2012		 Looks like we're set for a white Christmas in Crested Butte! Snow finally started falling around here, and doesn't look like its going to stop. A big storm is forecast for later this week!!
12/17/2012		 The USA Pro Cycling Challenge roared through Crested Butte yesterday -- congratulations to Tejay Van Garderen for winning stage 2.

No line in front of McGills yet this morning, come quick! Its another beautiful day in Crested Butte, we've been seeing day time temperatures in the mid 70's with occasional afternoon thunderstorms to keep things green and clean.
7/18/2012		 Most trails are open and riding great in and around Crested Butte -- this picture was taken on the lower loop earlier this week, when the boss was in town and took an after work ride.
6/07/2012		 Its a quiet Friday morning on Elk Avenue. Leaves are budding in town, and each day more trails are becoming available. This week the Lower Loop, Deer Creek, and the CBMR Trail system have opened up, almost a month earlier than last year.

The new Lupine Trail is open and ready to ride, with beautiful views of the valley in and around Crested Butte. Flowers are starting to come out and more trails will be opening soon.
