PRE-CONSTRUCTION
At Copper Creek Homes, our goal is to contribute to the project as early as possible by facilitating a teamwork approach, coordinating with Architects in designing structural, mechanical, plumbing and electrical systems. Supportive decision making is made possible by teamwork, making it a key component in establishing realistic budgets and schedules. By working with you and your architect early on, we are able to establish material selections and construction alternatives to help forecast costs and meet budget objectives.
CONSTRUCTION
Copper Creek Homes provides the most comprehensive and efficient General Contracting in Western Colorado, specifically but not limited to the Gunnison Valley, Crested Butte, and the surrounding areas. Each job is assigned a full time, on site, job superintendent, along with our own highly skilled crew, producing superior quality and expert craftsmanship.

Cost Control
We want to build your custom dream home, but while we’re at it, we will carefully monitor the funding to ensure your pocket book is protected. Copper Creek Homes provides a monthly billing statement outlining the current budget, cost to complete, and percentage of completion of the project.
We provide a detailed analysis of all proposals, current contracts, material suppliers, and line item budgets associated with each trade. We use this information to work with the owner, architect, and consultants to incorporate value engineering into the project.
Scheduling
We offer critical path scheduling which charts the progress of construction and identifies timelines for securing materials with long lead times.
Copper Creek Homes will also schedule and administer project meetings with owners, architects, designers, subcontractors, and vendors. Budget updates and billing are done on a monthly basis.
On Site Management and Project Control
Copper Creek Homes employs a full time, on site superintendent who oversees the entire construction process. Field offices are equipped with computer and communications equipment for up-to-date information on project progress and design decisions.
Subcontractor Selection, Control and Approval
Copper Creek Homes utilizes competitive subcontractor bidding with pre-qualified subcontractors and uses attorney drafted, trade specific subcontractor agreements ensuring that subcontractors perform to the standards set by Copper Creek Homes.
We work with the owner and architect during the subcontractor selection process to ensure the project meets the satisfaction of all parties. Clients receive a bid analysis of all subcontractor proposals with price break downs and a detailed scope of work.
Client Communication
Whether our clients are locals or second-home owners, we communicate frequently using email, fax, and telephone. Weekly progress reports are provided to clients, architects, and designers. Site photos are posted on our “Client” section of our website on a weekly basis.
Quality Control

Post Construction Services include:
