Western Pilates is a small, cutting-edge Pilates and Suspension training studio located near the 4-way stop in Crested Butte, Colorado. We offer a wide variety of group classes with four excellent instructors using state-of-the-art fitness equipment. Small group classes in Mat Pilates, TRX, Redcord, & Balance Barre are scheduled through-out the week and open for anyone to drop-in. About Pilates
90 years ago Joseph Pilates developed a system of exercises that tap into the power of the mind-body connection. This workout regimen features mat work and a specially developed apparatus to build core strength and total body flexibility. Simple but elegant floor exercises and Pilates’ machine work encourage your core muscles to lengthen and strengthen, lending grace and power to all your movements. This method is beneficial for all body types and fitness levels.

We offer a variety of classes. Read below for more details:

TRX: A high energy core suspension workout.

Pilates/Balance Barre Class: High powered standing Pilates with a Barre support -- guaranteed to work all parts of your body.

Ab Blaster: 30 minutes of intense, Pilates-based movement focusing on abdominal strength and core stability. Call to confirm class meeting.

Pilates Fundamental Mat Class: An exacting, precise Stott Pilates based mat class that emphasizes proper alignment and excellent technique taught by Lisa Griggs, MHS PT. This is the best class to start with.

Early Bird Pilates Mat Class: A fast and fun advanced intermediate Pilates mat workout.

CoreFitness Roller:This class explores the almost limitless exercise possibilities using the CoreFitness Roller for strengthening, stretching, cardio & self massage.
RedCord Class: A multilevel small group class using the RedCord system's ropes to challenge balance, stability & core strength.

Pilates Mat Class: A beautiful, flowing, almost traditional mat class that will work you! Taught at an advanced - intermediate level.

Western Group Class Sampler : Taught by rotating instructors with a different focus and small apparatus each week. Balance Barre, CFR, RedCord - the possibilities are endless.

Pilates Apparatus Circuit Training Group Session:
A fast paced workout using all the cool Pilates equipment. Prior Pilates Apparatus experience is preferred. Minimum 3 - Maximum 12.
