Snow Fairy here at Crested Butte Mountain Resort happy to report we have had 1 new inch of snow in the last 48 hours and a total of 157.5 inches of snowfall this season! And it is a beautiful sight. We have 100% of our beginner, intermediate tanned advanced terrain open for your riding pleasure along with 76% of our extreme terrain open for you daredevils out there! Take any one of our 12 spinning lifts to access our 93 open trails, 58 of them groomed with Colorado's Best Corduroy! It is a snowy spring wonderland out there so suit up and head on out! Zip on to the Groomer's Choice, Smith Hill, or do some jumpin' at the Cascade Park. But note, the bottom of the Park will be closed due to preparing for all the fun we will be having during our upcoming closing weekend.

That's right, Crested Butte will once again be partying at the base area with our Closing Weekend events such as Roost the Butte and the Pond Skim. Snowmobile mayhem, skiing on a pond, bikinis, costumes, and an After Party at Butte 66 to top off the day, all-day Saturday with more fun Sunday to close our season in style.
Burn your lungs and earn your turns at the Adaptive Sports Center's first annual Legs & Bacon uphill race. Watch or join the ascent of 2,500 feet from the base area to the top of the Silver Queen. Enjoy coffee and breakfast at Paradise to follow. Race starts at 7:30am. Register at the Adaptive Center or visit call 970-349-5075.
