Gobble gobble! Happy Thanksgiving skiers and riders of Crested Butte Mountain Resort. Today is Thursday, November 28th, 2013, and with sunny skies and temperatures reaching a comfortable 35 degrees, there’s no better way to work up an appetite for your holiday feast, than by shredding any of the 25 diverse trails open, spread across 150 skiable acres, which can be accessed by the 5 lifts spinning. An incredible 31 inch base lies beneath your skis or board, thanks to the hard working snow makers, groomers and of course, Mother Nature, who has dumped over 50 inches of snow so far this season! After you’ve worked up your turkey day appetite, head on over to the Woodstone Grille with your friends and family, where a delicious Thanksgiving Buffet will be served at its finest starting at 4 pm. Although we already have so much to be thankful for here at Crested Butte Mountain Resort, here’s just one more thing: thanks to some of the best opening conditions in years, we are excited to announce that Paradise Lift will be open starting Saturday! It sure is shaping up to be a great 2013-2014 ski season!
