Welcome to the first of many amazing weekends in store for us this season here at Crested Butte Mountain Resort. This is Powder Hound barking out some great news today, Saturday, November 30, 2013. If new terrain is what you asked for, then we deliver today with the Paradise Lift sparking to life to serve up an additional 75 acres of open territory. It’s early in the season and having 83% of our beginner terrain as well as 28% of our intermediate terrain available ain’t too shabby! The nearly 5 feet of snow that has already fallen this season combined with the amazing efforts of our grooming and snow making teams have allowed for some fantastic conditions on our mountain with 224 open acres all covered in a 31 inch base. 38 trails are now accessible and 6 lifts are spinning to get you there with ease. Don’t miss a few good turns on Paradise Bowl, our groomer’s pick today.
Take a break for lunch at the Butte 66 Roadhouse and Grille for American cuisine at it’s finest complete with Burgers and shakes or sip on a tasty apres ski beverage on the huge deck. Located slope side, the Butte 66 is open for lunch and apres ski all season!
