It’s another fantastic Friday to be on the slopes at Crested Butte Mountain Resort. This is Powder Hound diggin’ up more great news today, December 13, 2013. We’ve seen 83 inches of powder so far this season and we’re hoping to see an increase in that number as another system moves through our area today. Carve some turns on the 424 acres currently available and covered in a nice, soft 40 inch base. 6 of our 15 lifts are cranked up this morning to drop you down on 57 trails, 41 of which have been shaped up nicely to Colorado’s Best Corduroy by our professional grooming team who have given Houston as their top picked groomed run of the day. Even with the cloud cover, we should still see some cooler temps, so make sure you throw on an extra layer or two as you head out the door.
