Good morning from the heavenly mountains on this 29th day in January of 2014! The snow gods are tuning up their snow machines as snow is expected to start dumping today and lasting through the weekend, leaving Crested Butte Mountain Resort ready for some significant snow fall! On this last Wednesday of January, take in the views from any of the 14 lifts spinning today, leading you to 103 thrilling trails, 71 of which are covered with Colorado’s best corduroy. 99% of the mountain open, so no matter where you decide to point your skis or board, you’re sure to end with a grin from ear to ear, but why not give International a whirl, as it’s the groomer’s choice of the day! While the skiing and riding is absolutely fabulous right now, you should go ahead and check out some of the deals happening at this moment, that are sure to blow your mind. Take the “Big Game Monday” lift ticket deal, for example, where on Monday, February 3rd, 2014, the price of lift tickets will be determined based on the final combined score of Sunday’s game (or max $59 if it’s a high scoring game). So no matter how the game pans out, it will be a win-win situation for you! Looking for some more laughs after your happy day on the slopes?
