Good morning from Crested Butte Mountain Resort and welcome to another gorgeous day on February 16, 2014! With the warm weather and massive amount of snow from this season all skiers and riders can have a great time on the 1163 acres and all 15 lifts running today! There is 18 feet of snow from this season covering the 103 open trails today, all waiting for you to head on out to your favorite powder stash. The 77 inch base and some of Colorado's finest corduroy, like the Groomer's choice Upper Ruby, will make for a wonderful way to enjoy the 100% of open beginner, intermediate, advanced and 99% of extreme terrain. In conjunction with the Subaru Freeride Series, Subaru Winterfest is back in the base area this weekend. Check out the Subaru tent today, or demo the latest equipment from Nordica and LibTech. Take part in ski and ride clinics, grab some giveaways, and test your skills in the Freeride Experience and check out skicb.com/ deals for all kinds of ways to save!   The Twister Lift will run all day! Cruise Twister laps on an absolutely beautiful part of the mountain with fantastic views and incredible skiing.
