Welcome to another wonderful Wednesday here at Crested Butte Mountain Resort on this 2nd day in April of 2014. I’m thrilled to announce that 24 FEET of snow have fallen so far this season, 2 of which fell in the last 24 hours, 3 of which have fallen in past 48 hours, and over 2 feet of which have come down in the last week, creating one heck of a soft and powderific 81 inch base. With 12 lifts spinning today, leading you to over 120 trails, there’s no shortage of fun to be had on the mountain. Of those 121 slopes open, 78 have been pristinely groomed and the groomer’s recommend Twister as their groomer’s choice of the day! On top of phenomenal snow conditions, Mother Nature is planning on adding more snow to our already incredible base, with temperatures reaching the mid 30’s.
