February is safety month and today, the Crested Butte Fire Department presents Touch a Truck! Always a popular kid favorite, Touch a Truck will be held at the base area from 9:30 to noon. Then, join us for avalanche dog and beacon demos at 1pm presented by the Crested Butte Ski Patrol. These demos can be seen between the Red Lady and Silver Queen lifts.
