Rise and shine skiers and riders of Crested Butte Mountain Resort! It’s time to grab your dancing shoes and shake a leg at this next storm system that is moving in today with the potential to drop 7 inches of fresh powder on the ground on this super Saturday, February 21, 2015. Snow is in the air, as the forecast is calling for over two feet out of this system by Monday!  Grab the gear, my friends, and head up to enjoy the 938 acres of superb terrain covered in a 38 inch base. We have 14 lifts are cranked up this morning to serve up the 93 runs currently open and with 99% of our mountain now accessible, fun is sure to be had for all skill levels from the beginner to the expert. Our professional grooming staff has issued word that Paradise Bowl is the choice run for the finest soft, smooth turns on Colorado’s Best Corduroy.

The grill is now open at Uley’s Cabin. Stop by the grill and get a Mae Ploy pulled pork sandwich, Elk Sausage or Buffalo Chili! The food is fantastic and the views are breath taking. While you are at it enjoy a drink at the famous Ice Bar!  Be adventurous, whether young or old, at the Adventure Park which is open daily! Enjoy the new Tubing Hill, Flying Gopher Mini Golf Course (9 holes), Rock Climbing, and Bungee Trampolines from 1 p.m. – 5 p.m.!  With fresh snow falling from the sky and so many events happening on the mountain today, like the Prater Cup, I’m headed up to enjoy another fantastic day in Colorado’s Last Great Ski Town.
